Haul In - 1 Hour Private Lesson

Service Description

This booking service is for students that will haul their own horse to the RWE farm. Please note that we don't currently have a sand arena, so horses will be exercised in an enclosed dirt area or an open grassy area. Students may arrive early to unload, tack up, and acclimate their horse to the surroundings. All horses that enter the property must have a Negative Coggins within a year. Horses must be in healthy condition with no evidence of sickness including runny nose or eyes, open wounds, parasitic manure, etc. Spring 2023 vaccinations should be administered at least 2 weeks in advance. Exercise hygienic practices including your own water bucket, no touching noses, and cleaning up manure. All students must sign up for 1 private lesson to enter the RW Equestrian lesson program. The initial lesson will include an evaluation of the rider, tour of the farm, explanation of the RWE program, and a chance to ask questions. Weekly lessons may be set up after the first lesson. Horseback Riding lessons are available for ages 5 to adult. Beginning students learn independent balance, correct posture and cues to move the horse. They will have the opportunity to try different styles of riding, both western and english. Intermediate to Advanced students will learn maneuvers on the horse in their chosen discipline, for example: pleasure, games (barrels), working cattle, jumping and dressage. All students will learn how to communicate with the horse effectively, care for the horse, and build a relationship with it. Students will have lessons both on the ground and in the saddle. A private lesson is for 1 student only and cannot be split between family members. Families can book 2-30 minute lessons with a 10 minute break for the horse and instructor. Cancellation policy: Refunds are not generally given, as your payment holds your lesson spot. Under discretion of RWE, exceptions will be made for extreme circumstances. 24 hr cancellation notice is required to reschedule without a fee. Make up lessons should be scheduled within 2 weeks, unless instructor is unavailable. If instructor is unavailable within 2 weeks, scheduling will be extended to 1 month or a refund given by discretion of RWE.
